Sleep isn't horrible, sleep is good.

During sleep the brain in humans and other mammals undergoes a characteristic cycle of brain-wave activity that includes intervals of dreaming.
If you don't go to sleep, you wouldn't be able to function properly, plus it's almost impossible for you not being able to go to sleep. Why? Because of the main fact that your body forces you too...
There is nothing wrong with staying up late. heh, I do it all the time. Longest time I ever stayed up was till 8 am...
