KKS, cosplay is more than just video game characters. Cosplay is a compound word of "Costume" and "Play", which just means that Cosplay is more of a theatrical display more than just a costume. Plus, the costumes can be created from more than video games, and anime's/manga's. For all you know, an original costume could be made and featured, but still have a character intellect/persona behind it. It's a very respectable thing to do.

Physicals: A hobby doesn't always need to be fun. It just needs to be something you do at least semi-often, for your own enjoyment or to pass the time. And if you're still holding that grudge over the past, then your more sensitive than I imagined. Say different if you wish, but even in your eyes, a long-term grudge shouldn't look too good.
