[ooc]I forgot to mention, and I just noticed, that Akiko was using her "limit Break". ^_^; She was safe from attack for a few moments. And now, back to our show.
This begins from the moment that Akiko escapes from the monsters... so you know how she'd have gotten away.[/ooc]

Holding up her bit of protection against the perpetual pounding of the beasts, Akiko forced much of herself into the shield. The beings attacks, which became stronger and more widespread, began to wear down on poor Akiko. However, they were not able to notice that something was building up near the edges of the barrier they beat upon. Akiko was planning something... Asfahrn knew she would be. He didn't care, however: whatever she would do, she wouldn't be a threat to him.
However, he couldn't have expected the energy build up to burst underneath Akiko, and send her into safety. Especially not with the look on that face.

Landing inside the alley next to the nearest building, Akiko stood in her slightly crouched position for a moment before standing up again, and running out of the alley. In the street again, Akiko noticed that the beings were now attacking each other in their confusion, and that she appeared to be safe for the moment. Grabbing her shoulder and looking on, she noticed a figure dashing toward her in the distance. As her blood continued its flow, the figure continued its constant reach toward her. Coming close enough, Akiko knew it was Udes, the mysterious Tiger-man. She watched him closely, and gazed at his figure, as he stopped to look at her with a small hit of hesitation. Then, watching as he leapt swiftly into the large group of beings, Akiko found herself staring at a very gallant being.
[ooc]And we're back on track..[/ooc]
This, however, became highly ridiculous. Not only was she staring at someone she had just met, but she was doing that while in the midst of a dangerous battle. Standing up straight once more, Akiko looked at the monsters and at Udes. She began to think now: if she were to help Udes fight the evil, creepy beings, and if they were to be destroyed, Asfahrn might be able to summon even more of them. If that were to happen, they'd be fighting forever.
No... she would have to attack them in a different approach. She would have to go after Asfahrn himself.

Gathering her strength into another little burst of energy, Akiko bounced up to the roof once more. Landing on both legs and immediately walking closer to the hopping boy, her looks became somewhat intimidating. Lifting her chin upward and looking down at Asfahrn, the look of her eye began to strike something within him. He didn't know exactly what was going on, but he did know that he hated the way it felt. Thrusting his hand out once more, and summoning his magic once more, he began to call out for a greater beast to fight Akiko. However, nothing happened. As Akiko drew nearer and nearer, nothing was happening. He suddenly began to panic: no monsters were being summoned. Something was cutting off his power over them.

Drawing from beneath his clothes a rod, Asfahrn stood in a strange stance. Glaring at Akiko, as if he were daring her to just move one more step further to himself, he started to let droplets of sweat run down his forehead. When she finally took that one step, he leapt forward wildly, aiming to strike her down with one attack. However, it turned out that his aiming and hand-eye coordination was a little off, and he missed Akiko very badly. Ending up in the second story of the building, he watched as Akiko hopped down to look at him with a sense of pity. The child stepped back a little bit, and brushed his bangs with his fingers once. Jumping this time with more accuracy, Akiko actually had to move to avoid the strike. The strike itself, she noticed, seemed to be using magic behind its power. After all, finding herself newly scratched all across her arms and legs when nothing touched her was just a bit too much of a coincidence at this time.

[ooc] Just to say... this battle is all Akiko's for the moment...kill the monsters... then after I say its ok, go after Asfahrn. but you won't know if you'd want to kill him anymore...[/ooc]
