Are you still having the problem now?

I can see if the server is really busy it might take a while to contact it (no more than 60 seconds though).

The new login/password system went live last night. And since, there have been good 50 people who signed up without any problems.

A good idea is to always clear your browser cach and refresh the web page.

And if that doesn't help, and you still can't login or create a new account at a later time, then we have a problem or a possible bug.
