Actually that's pretty much the only usefulness of Yoshi's A+ down. I used it on Training mode and found that it did less damage to a normal character than to the sack.

I do tend to use Marth instead of Roy sometimes, mainly because Marth's attacks are more powerful at the tip of his blade and Roy's are more powerful at the center of his blade.

One more thing:Have Marth use a bunny hood. His normal A attack is faster and deadlier than ever. I think he's the only one that gets an attack boosted, aside from the jump and running speed.
