Um, lessee here now...the very first time I played the game, I went into practice mode and you could only play as ryu..no other characters were avaliable..and of course, it was against the infamous 'Barney'. but I dont know if that was 2001, or 2002...?
Anyway, I joined sometime after I found the forum in the summer..
