[quoteost_uid0="blanka09"]Woord! Power to the ppl.. I hate it when ppl blame lag for their losses..

There was this time I was playing on a t3 connection.. in the library.. and this guy tells me I lag. I just laughed at his ignorance.. but I agree with MSI. It's very dumb atimes when you attribute your loss to lag. <!--emo&[/quote]
lol you did lag...at least to him.

Never forget lag is a matter of ones own perspective and that lag is a 2 sided coin.
His perspective..you lagged.
Your perspective..he lagged.
The real perspective..you both lagged.

Just because you are fast does not mean that you dont lag.
Because of the way the game engine works, any PC will dump/ignore/not send packets in an attempt to keep both players games 'some what' equal, regaurdless of your PC/ISP...and alot of times the numbers between the 2 players just dont jive...wich can cause frame dumps...other wiseseen and known as 'lag'.

Also if any server between 2 players slows down/goes down, then new routes of communication are required and sought out...this also creates lag

So whats that mean?
you both lag, no matter what your connection speed or PC.

Whos to say it wasnt a T1 server getting over taxed and slowing down/going down, and not the dial-up?

Fast does not mean 'correct'.

An equal exchange of packets shared between the host and guest is 'correct'.

Can you lose because of lag..yes.
Can you win because of lag ..yes.
How, why?
Simple, there was not an equal or porportionate amount of data being sent/recieved, and exchanged freely between the 2 PC because of the servers between them. This literaly can create a 'one sided' fight.
