I dunno..I live in canada..well the good part. And at school during the english(language arts) class they still try to teach us proper grammar and sentence structure. During that class we had to write about 5 essays and about half of the marks went towards punctuation, structure, grammar, and capitalization.
But I do think we all tend to slip on the computer..because typing is different from writing..so in typing we are either lazy or try to take the short way out and abbreviate. So, over the computer all the slang and stuff like that is fine to me, but that should be where it stays because taking the easy way wont help you in life.
