"What the!" Rawk jumped out of bed. He ran toward his balcony, almost tripping over his own feet, and looked outside into the distance. "Oh ... no.
"Akiko! Get up!"
"Ack, what's that noise?" she was startled.
"We're being invaded!"
Rawk ran over to Akiko and cut the rope from her hands. He grabbed her by the wrist and began to run down the hall.
"Rawk!" she shouted, "I can't run this fast!"
Rawk swung her into his arms and kept running. Finally, they got outside to see the large formation of clan Blitz, ready for battle. They all watched the mountains ahead with wide eyes and tense muscles -- ready to leap and fight at any moment.
It was quiet ... and everyone was sweating with anticipation.
"Giaaaagh!" A Loach screamed and fell down.
Everyone looked that way, and the wolfman beside him knelt down and turned his body over ... There was a shureiken lodged into his chest. The Loach stood up and yelled, "Ninjas!"
Suddenly, like a coloney of ants, an army of green-uniformed ninjas swarmed down the mountains. Fearlessly and savagely they swung out their blades and began to slash and hack everywhere around them; a method of intimidation before the battle. The armies collided as cries and screams were heard throughout the mountain range, echoeing the horrors of the battle field.
Rawk, no longer with the girl in his arms, grabbed Akiko by the hand and dashed toward a boulder. They ducked down behind it in an attempt to avoid battle.
"Rawk, why is this happening? Why are they fighting like this?" There were almost tears in Akiko's eyes.
"Because ... because that is a clan of savages. They have an ever-growing thirst for blood and they love to quench it," Rawk replied.
"But what has your clan done to make them angry at you?"
"Absolutely nothing. That's why we gotta leave; you're in danger here."
"So, you're just going to leave your people when they need you?"
"They don't need me. They never have. Don't worry, they can fend for themselves.
Just then, a ninja jumped in front of Rawk and slashed his sword at Rawk's face. The Loach moved out of the way and gave the ninja a nice big punch in the gut, sending him slowly to the ground in pain. Rawk looked ahead at their route of escape; it was guarded by several ninjas.
"Okay, Akiko, when we get over there," Rawk pointed at the path they were going to take, "I want you to go hide behind that rock."
"Okay ... but why?"
"I gotta clear the way..."
They both sprinted away. Soon, Akiko turned and jumped behind a large boulder as Rawk continued to run straight. The ninjas ahead saw him coming and took a defensive stance. As Rawk came close, he leaped into the air, but not too high, and knocked the first ninja to the ground with a fast kick to the face that snapped its neck. He landed and rolled to the right, dodging a quick slash. He stood up and punched a ninja in the chest, shooting him at another ninja behind him. Rawk jumped forward and landed, crushing both of their necks with each foot. There was one left. With his sword flailing infront of his body, the ninja charged at Rawk, who jumped over the ninja and kicked him in the back before he hit the ground, severring the ninja's spine.
Rawk ran toward the boulder where Akiko was and saw a ninja lying on the ground with Akiko standing over it. Rawk smirked and nodded his head as if to say that he was impressed.
"Come, let's go!" He said.
And the two ran off and followed the path, never looking back.

[OOC]Roll, if you'd like to pick up from there, that would be great .[/OOC]
