No... we need new ones! That's for sure! ^-^
How about.. Another life restoring helper idea:
Karin comes out, with her butler who is holding a glass of milk in his hand. If the user of the helper in question reaches the milk: POOF! some health is restored (not a lot, mind you, but some.).
Then.... um.. how about a timed helper that can take a chunk of health out of whoever is near them? Like... Rolento with his grenades. If you're around the grenades when they explode, you'll be damaged regardless of who you are. But it has to take about (perhaps) two seconds for the helper to activate and go "boom".
Another life-restoration idea: Blanka comes in, and shakes the stage of random fruit in random areas. It's a grab bag helper in this case, and all the fruit can be grabbed by either player for healing. Amount of fruit that falls, and where they will fall should be random with this, but the amount of health the fruit will give should always be small. Heck, with him, make it so that he sometimes could accidentally make something damaging pop out (bomb, random item that doesn't heal, Rolento's grenades, a *sleeping* character). In that case, don't go near it, or you'll lose some life.
Here's a spur-of-the-moment idea: A pocket fighter comes out, and attacks with your character for a limited time. The Pocket Fighter is always around you, and they always attack with you. They may use special attacks, or just kicks and punches depending on what you do. I would suggest Sakura, Ryu, Chun-li, or Dan for this; perhaps even Ken.
How about a helper that lunges themselves at the opponent and holds them there? For a limited amount of time, of course; and it has to actually connect to work. It will only be a straight-forward attack, no archs or curves in the lunge to trick other opponents.
There. Some ideas. Try making one, people! ^-^ (this is actually kind of fun..)
