ok, so if you change the extension from mp3 to something different then it no longer is a song. then its legal. data is data. if its not a song then its legal to download. how about that? so what if they start downloading .kfk files? is that ok? ah now if the money instead went to charity, and i mean REAL charity, then maybe it would be worth paying. the rich should not get richer. its as simple as that. The defenition of stealing is To take (the property of another) without right or permission but since one buys a song doesnt that mean its theirs? or are they just buying the right to listen to it? if thats so then the price should be lower, because supposedly when one buys something they own it. if the song is the property of say jane doe, then she should have the right to lend it to a friend. shoudl cdrs and mp3 players be illegal as well? I think all we need is someone to buy a licence, similar to that of a radio broadcaster, and allow people to download for free. ah such a charitable soul that would be... ^_^ well as soon as I get my break i think that's what im gonna do, unless my shopping spree significant other decides to go buy a 50000 dollar tee shirt.
