Shauku is a briefly-mentioned character from Magic: The Gathering. I thought the name sounded cool as hell, so I used it for a character in a DBZ Fanfic I wrote a while back.
My more commonly-known identity, Nantuko Joe, comes from similar origins. The Nantuko were a really cool-looking race of insect/druids from Magic, and the word rhymed with my firstname, Joe. Henceforth, Nantuko Joe.
Also, the abbreviation for my username would be NJ, which also happens to be the abbreviation of the state I live in. Works out pretty cool, IMO
