If you read the article in X Force 2010 about the way helpers are chosen, it specifically says that you choose ur character by pressing the punch button and then the helper code you want.. no matter what player you are 1st or 2nd.

But I noticed that you have to press the helper code as u select ur character in order to get the right helper you desire.. or you'll just get a crappy helper or Dr. Doom (if you're a VIP) :biggrin:

And it's worse for 2nd players, cause they can't even choose thier helpers. The game just chooses it for them.
Now this is a bug that TMyApp might want to fix.. and it's one that I think Kidkrazyshit should add to his known bugs/problems list so that no one else creates a new topic about it :biggrin:
