bloodpack: My "legacy" (if you can call it that), is/was the History of XvsSF: Part 1 and the Spoof Hist. You might consider tournament reviews something else, but I have a feeling they're less popular/I'm less acknowledged for actually being the first to do that.

FYI, f(x,y) COULD mean anything. X<sup>2</sup>+X+Y<sup>2</sup> will not be a strait line by any strecth of the imagination. Nor would X<sup>2+Y</sup>. The fact that it is parallel to the z plane (or third dimension) is irrelevant and will only "appear" as a strait line if you gaze upon it directly on a 2 dimensional plane showing z and either x or y while ignore the other dimension.
