DAN, that's just it ! don't you think its stupid to force a player to do as he wished for a certain character and not do what you wish to do with him ?
in any case, many characters in GGX are very difficult to do things you would want to do.
EXAMPLE...
the guy with the playing cards (he's great but i don't recall his name)
in any cases, he got to throw coins at people and they must hit the person for him to actually be able to do special moves. fact is, this coin toss thing is just dman too slow, reguardless of how i tryed to combo it into so i can as i hit the opponent, try to make more hits, it just relentlessly stop my combo and i have to restart again !
so seriously, for all i played GGX, its a great game, great chars great graphics... but seriously... its too damn hard to do anything with the chars and since its so hard to master every charcaters cause their moves are too damn hard to make, mainly, ya can't do a 30 hit combo in the game ! ya always end up with a maximum of a 10 hit or something !
in any case, gameplay wise, i still have to find any game close to the strategie SFA3 brought along !
as for instant kills, yeah i know they must be tuffer to do in higher levels... but its nonetheless, a really cheap way when you fight against a real opponent and not a computer !
one other thing, even tho i hate people who still do the same trick over an over... the NEGATIVE PENALTIES just sucks.
one thing i liked in the VS series that we lack in all other fighting game, are the jump block !
tho i think SFA 3 has them as well !
in any case, the game is great for what it is, but for me it sure aint beating out SFA3 nor will it defeat MvsC2 !
