As you have noticed I have been closing a lot of posts that I feel serve no purpose anymore or never had any purpose in the 1st place.

I'm going to clean a lot more too, just trying to decide between what's ok to close and when I would just be being an ass by closing it. About the random posts topic(s), I don't mind 1 or 2 topics in the GENERAL area made just for that to keep people from posting stupid shit everywhere else. But they still seem to post stupid shit everywhere else anyway.

This forum is for X-Men vs. Street Fighter and (CLOSELY)related topics. Not for people to advertise their own websites, it's not a dating service, it's not a vent for people's likes or dislikes on topics that have nothing to do with the game or anything at all for that matter. And it's not for people to post just to gain higher status from newbie -> member or higher. I am actually contemplating bringing everyone down to newbie level if that keeps up.
