One time, at band camp.....When I was in driver training(which is exactly what it sounds like it is.. :sarcasm I was at this intersection turning. So, it was my chance to make the turn, so I had checked the mirrors, shoulder, and blind spot one last time and started to turn. Luckily i didnt get up to a decent speed, because out of my peripheral I saw this truck coming, so I just hit the brake and turned the car a bit the other way as this truck just sped right past us nearly hitting us because it was in the wrong lane. I know it dont really sound like much, it was one of those 'you'd have to see it to get the feeling' thing.
