[quoteost_uid0="viper2040"]well, I'm back from vacation (ironic, my last post in here, isnt it? hint to ssjkarma  )

and i must say, im pleased that people can fondly remember the days of yore when rank 1 was a prestigious (well, somewhat) position, and when we didnt have evil corporations breathing down our necks, when X-men vs Streetfighter Online was a fledgling community of people who just wanted a few minutes (or hours) to relax, and enjoy a quality shockwave site.

Many people here seem to have gone through the same stages of membership here: Player, member, retired, returning vet, and i am one of them. Yes, I have been here a long time, but like many, i took a vacation from the site which in my case lasted from march/april 2002-end of july, 2002, but in the end, the site retained its hold on me, and i had to come back. From then, it was a long, hard struggle to regain my skills from before, but i never fully recovered them...then, september 2002, the worst happened. I found out that my college had a firewall, and thought that my XvsSf days were done....mid october, I finally found a way around it, and for a few weeks, was unbeatable (for who knows what reason). To this day, I have yet to regain the skills that I had from Nov 2002 to Jan 2002...

But I shall not stop trying....[/quote]
I got a firewall sometime this year... my fighting just went downhill since then...
I still make quite a formidable foe though
