well, if u read up on macromedia... they CLAIM shockwave was always designed for games like this one... (but when was the last time u saw a multiplayer action game on shockwave.com ??? if anyone could do it... wouldn't they be able to pull it off?)

shockwave is not the fastest engine on the planet... i have never been able to see a ping of under 150 in this game

the only thing i can do is go by the book... try to make the code as efficient as possible, and hope for the best

still... the average ping in this game for me is around 300 (@least with 0.2f+).... and i'm ALWAYS lagged (since the constant hits from the users taking away my bandwidth)

still... i really can't complain to a ping of 300... i know exactly where the other player is, and i find it to be a fun and fair game (maybe i'm just too used to the lag.. i don tknow)

>1000 ... fine.. THATS when u start to see some problems... >2500, dont even bother playing

but i still dont get how any of the changes in 0.2f+ has changed the game enough 4 u that u dont consider it playable anymore ... if only u could record one of u'r games into an AVI or someting... cause i just dont get it
