A higher angel (Lucifer) rebelled in heaven.. and was cast down, along with other of his cohorts.. (Satan and the demons :S) This, as many people say (Christians) caused the extinction of earlier species (before man), the Bible you could call a puzzle, as you have to fit pieces from information from all around it into one place to sometimes figure things out. Then it goes on to say the earth was "dark and without form" or somethin' like that.. lol, don't remember the exact phrase.. then He created man..
