Dan would suck on this game, why?
Gadouken: a little lag at start up, and the fireball only goes barely a distance away from his hands. He'll get flat up owned by fireballers
Koryuken: As we know in this game, anti-airs suck, and Dan is no exception. If Ryu's is bad, if Cyke's is bad, if Wolverine's is mediocre to bad, if Spider Man's is mediocre to bad, if Cunli's is horrible, then Dan might jus as well be on the same line as Chunli(or even below it)
Dankyaku: It COULD be good for traveling to get to the other side, but it's not good for dealign damage. It'll probably be a slightly better Cyclone Kick, and that move itsself is bad enough
Dan picture autograph thing: heh.....
Shinkuu Gadouken: If gadouken is plain bad, then Shikuu Gadouken must be slightly better, which doesn't cut the cheese at all.
Koryueppa: For this to connect, you have to be really lucky, or hella smart to connect this a lot.
Hisho Buraiken: same as Koryueppa
Overall, for Dan to do damage, he has to do it up close, and with the very poor variety of up close moves, Dan is a lame duck. I like Dan, he's my 8th favorite SF character, but having him as a character would be put it.... waste of time.
