actually, the human body can survive 1000 volts of electricity and barely feel it..(this is on the ski, while dry). It takes 100,000 volts to cause death...
However, when the skin is wet, the human body cannot survive even 1000 volts. (course if youre talking about sticking a battery in your mouth, im sure you would feel a 9 volt battery... :biggrin
anyways, when you say ki, are you talking about a simple projection of physical energy from the body? theoretically, i do not see why someone could not power a lightbulb just by projecting electricity from their body onto the terminals...
or are you talking about something to do with souls? If so, it may exist, but will probably never be accepted as factual by science... however, I do believe in souls, so Im not sure how this would turn out.
anyways, that big spiel above was just in regard to the misinformed person who said the human body produces more electricity than a nuclear power plant in 100 years. (think its on page 2, 3 or 4)
edit: hold on, someone in my dorm just added a small bit of wisdom: "If a person farted continuously for 365 years, then he would produce as much energy as an atom bomb."
I dont doubt it....but lets not go into the physics and chemistry of farts for now.
