I first bought the blue version, but I would have to say the red version. Even though the red version is pretty much the same as the blue, it has a bit of "trueness" to the pokemon name, and it did come out before the blue version did.

Machine1: I doub't you've ever played pokemon before... by a gameboy, and pokemon red/bue/yellow(they're only 10 bucks at funcoland), and then test it out for 40 hours.
