Glasses- But still, they both have an image with glasses. Dosen't matter if they need'em or not.

Clothes- Much like the glasses, the spider wasn't blue and red. The movie just did that. But you know, how they got those colours is irrelevant. iori was just saying that they wear the same colours.

City- you are right. But they both still live in New York.

Everything Else- irrelevant. Their origins and all weren't iori's point. He just mentioned their similarites.
