i mean... guys, its SEE-THRU, and the fact is, when it pop-out your keys still works for the fight until you actually click on the chat window !

that thing comes out... just ignore it and continu to fight ! when you got a little second spare, close it !

yup..and sometimes you just dont giva f@ck what the other player has to say..and they keep talking...and talking...and talking...and talking.
GRRR! very irritating indeed...when i enter a match..im there to fight..not chat..or have my view limited by a chat box.
A disable feature would rock..have it set to give the "chatter" a default messege like "Player has disabled their chat." after they try and contact you...as well as a good ol' boot to the face for attempting to do something other than fight.
Or just have the chat tab, flash green like in hosted tag games...thats probably the best way to handle the situation I guess.
