cyclops tooks about 4 and a half months !
but you gotta look at the big picture !
he made spiderman from scratch and didn't do anything more then him because he wanted us to have him for the 25 !
cyclops took 4 months because he was also making NOTS which had a lot more features then cyclops had, so NOTS took like 95% of his time of programming, thus always delaying CYCLOPS !
other fact... knowing what TMYAPP is using to creat this game...
coding is easier when you use COPY/PASTE but is not necessarily faster !
why ?
because he still have to adjust things...
and even if AKUMA,DAN,KEN,SAKURA ar shoto's they all have different style of fighting !
its not like RYU and KEN were in the very first SF2 game !
they have a lot more differences then it seems !
which means, he will not have less time for them then he does for one other characters !
even if you choose KEN... he doesn't have the same MOVES, he doesn't have the same SPECIALS, he doesn't have the same SUPERS... now, how would he be faster to made if he as nothing in common except for his sprites ?
BTW... he doesn't draw sprites, he rips em fromt he game, which means it takes the very same time for every single character !
as for diversity... i agree, but i'll still vote for DAN HIBIKI since he has his own style of fighting and still have those strong moves !
