Well......normal Ryu's fireballs are too slow to counter Spidey's kick...he can get hurt but then still keep on doing the air kick without even touching the ground....But if you are using Evil Ryu, it would be OK because his projectiles are fast and he also shoots faster.....But I think the best best way to counter his moves is to super jump, projectiles or trip him with the kick and ground hard punch him up and then shoot him...That's the combo that I always do to beat Spidey or anybody that I fight...
