Good points... however I'd like to point out that the "can't block supers" issue is (in most cases) a lag issue that seems to accompany normal mode. For instance, I was playing somebody with Ryu vs. Wolverine (he was wolverine with hosting). The first match was played on normal mode, and EVERY SINGLE TIME he used a super, I couldn't block, attack, or really "do anything" until the attack had finished its sequence. However, after the first fight, we had 3 more matches (now on turbo mode), and each of us could block the other's supers or just "move around" while the super was connecting.
Not to say that normal mode is the sole cause of this... I've had experiences in turbo mode games where neither myself or my opponent can block during supers, and have had normal mode fights that were pretty "lag free," and both players can defend/move during supers. However... I've found through my most recent games that about 50% of my normal mode games disallow movement during super attacks, wheras in very few turbo mode games this has been the case (maybe 10 max... ever).
Aight.. well to strategies I guess...
It really depends on what your opponent's doing. If they're just sitting back, launching hadoken after hadoken, an offensive strategy is the best idea... jump forward and block until you're right on 'em, use some move to "stall" the opponent (duck and hk for example), then just string as many combos together as you like. Not really too hard considering you should knock them out of about every super (on your side at least), sparing you from getting nailed and avoiding their hadokens at the same time.
If they're jumping/running around like you are, and constantly teleporting... it's a good idea to charge and launch small attacks that last about 5 moves, then finish off with a dragon punch or trip to "buy" yourself some time to get back behind them (either by super jumping or jumping backwards and defending). Your decision on which way to jump is entirely up to yourself... but you have to make sure to note where your opponent likes to "teleport" off too... some people prefer to jump over you and hit you with a super, others might jump backwards... but in all likelyhood, it's exactly the same thing they did last time you attacked, so stick to routine.
For chun li and cyclops users... triple jump. And do it as often as you can. As long as your not fighting against a cyclops who likes to launch tons of hp "Optic blasts" or a spiderman that just likes to use air-web balls/spider kicks, then you should be able to avoid most any super or attack.
And, well thats all I'm saying in this post.. I'd love to hear some other ideas on this subject since it's very difficult to dodge every single super your opponent uses
