Ahhh...the TOC's, or as I like to call them -- the raping, and pillaging of my free time

The original TOC was the only one I entered (and will probably ever enter). To this day I don't have ANY idea what I was thinking about when I uttered the words "Tarkan you'll play me for my spot in the finals, and you can host first." I knew the moment we started that match there was zero chance of me winning. It had always been like that between the 2 of us -- guy who hosts is the guy who wins.
Even though I know I essentially threw away my own tournament victory (because there was NO way Tantum was going to touch me), I'm glad I did what I did. Just something about the guy who hosts the tournament winning the tournament made me think it would cheapen the tourney for everyone.
Even though there have been other TOC's I consider them all dismal failures compared to the original. I kept trying new things, and new ways to keep the tournaments fresh, and they all never seemed to click the way the original did. However you can all rest assured, that TOC:SA is going to take everything that worked in the other TOC's, and throw away anything else.
