This idea will make it that so its skill vs. skill, not who can beat up the most n00bs.

You are limited to fight 5 people not in the top 50 each day, so 35 people not in the top 50 at max for one week. You can fight anyone in the top 50 how many times you want though.

Say if you fight a player 5 times in a row thats not in the top 50, if you try to go for 6, it'll automaticaly say game over(when leaving the outcome of a fight where it says select yes or no to fight the other player again).

If you try to face another person not in the top 50, and you already had your 5 n00b fights up..., then it'll say you are not permitted to fight anyone below the top 50 anymore as of today(or something like that, you could make up your own).

note: this is also linked to players(playerxx) as well.

Another idea i had is..... a battle judge system, lik e SF3: 3rd strike except without grades, but with points. Your max number of points you can get is 10, and that depends on

how well you did in the fight(like doing strong, and aggresize moves), in how much time you defeated the opponent, how much vital bar you have left.

now the round determined for how many points youll get in that match is the best round you had... so say I got 5 pts. in round 1, and 7 in round 2, I will earn 7 pts. to my score.

and again, the score per match is based off of 0-10(0 being you losed, and 10 being you are the master).

and another note: if I win one round and get 5 pts. for that round, and the opponent wins round 2 and gets 7 pts. for that round, if I win round 3, then the opponent doesnt get any points. you Have to win to earn points. And you lose however much the opponent earned for the match adding a negative to it(if i get 5 pts. you lose 5 pts.)

If your confused, I'll try to post right away.

SF3: 3rd Strike was brillant and is still one of the best in the gaming industry to date!

TarkanX 03-21-2002 06:42 PM

try staying on topic, we dont want to talk about SF3: 3rd strike.

I was, I was supporting your idea on copying 3rd Strike, but edited it a bit.

It might be better not to get any points for defeating a not top 50-er after you beated 5...
Otherwise you can't fight unless you do so agains the ones in the top 50...

TarkanX 03-23-2002 07:44 AM

yeah thats a good idea, so people won't have to fight n00bs, but what if say the top 50 dont play anymore? then no one can get up ranks.

theik 03-23-2002 11:56 AM

Dunno...
Maybe make it so you can only get points for beating up a not top 50-er 5 times a day...

What if you were to only gain points for fighting someone 10 ranks below you or higher. Not that you couldn't lose points if you lost against them
