I play Capcom vs. Snk 2 and i love that game. In that game one of the best things i liked was the grooves. For those ppl who dont kno what groove is in that game, its the thing in the bottom that grows as u perform moves. For example in this game the groove is set for C-style group, which mean it just powers up as player plays during the game.

There are 6 different grooves in total. C groove, A groove, P groove, S groove, N groove, and finally K groove. A little discription about the grooves are below:

C-groove- As i said, its the groove that is used in this game in which u can build up "the Special meter" or whatever u call it to max of 3 lvls and can perform a super move in lvl 3.

A-groove- this groove also builds itselfup but only reaches the max of 2 lvls. but in this groove u can use normal lvl 1 or 2 specials or u can press High punch and high kick to make urself 2x faster and u can perform lvl1 specials in the middle of it.

P-groove- Players can use the 'Parry' feature to avoid any attack. A level 3 super combo can only be used in this groove. For those who dont kno what 'Parry' is, its a move u perform as soon as any attack touches ur player's body. All u need to do is point at the opposite direction from where the atack is coming from and u will parry. Parry has 1 more advantage, once u parry ur Special meter goes up.

These are all the grooves that are in Street fighter game series 4 a long time. There are 3 more grooves too, S,N and K groove, but they are from King of Fighters game series which i wont mension if youdont want me to cause they arent related to sfo. if youdo want me to put in all SNK groove guide, just tell me and i will b happy to have some comments.

i dont like the groove setting...its kinda stupid i like how sfo is... i dont think it should have a groove system

i mean, i liked the A ISM style in SFA3 but truly the best will always be the likes of the VS series !

at leasy with that you know how it goes !
anyway... the SNK games aren't really compatible with those of capcom, that's mainly why the CvsSNK games are not as loved as the MvsC ones !

What are u talking about??? CvsSNK is the best Street fighter game i ever played. marve| characters arent competable either. Snk is a really fast game and has good specials. U should try the game man.
