I think the timer should stay on for good and not be an on/off option for anyone. I have heard that people still manage to find ways to use speed programs during the game by keeping the the program opened behind the game and they would shift the speed whenever they see they have a 2 second chance to do so.

If the timer would stay on, and the opponent or challenger used speedgear, then their game clock would be running faster and lower down quicker meaning there would be most likely a 5 second differential which should result to a kick.

Tell me what you people think. I know it sucks sometimes when you don't finish a fight but would you rather get a loss by timer or get a loss because someone cheated to beat you?

If what you're saying is true, that they'll get kicked if their timer synchronization is different, then it should stay on... even if it does create more lag.

Well, ADAM! Lol there is no point in this really since tmy is scanning and taking care of the speedgear user's ( ASRB GO TO HELL!).

I started playing with the timer on. More drama to the fight and a failsafe to any "stuck" glitches.

it seems a good idea, but fact is, we didn't have that back then, its people who asked tmy to add that option.

to be honest i dislike that option and that's mainly why when i create a game there is none of it !
but feel free to always keep it on. after all when you create a game nobody can tell you what to put on or not !
