I picked the one eyed icon! yeah!
Ok, here is the idea that you are all waiting for, and that may or may not be a good one, depending on your views etc etc. When I play the game, i get lag. Now there are annoying things - executives who make major decisions yet who are still amazed by newton balls, people who play the ukelalie, and americans, to name a few. But even these, even americans, pale in comparison to playing a sf game on the net with lag and trying to do a super move, only to do a fireball/punch/dash. So i was thinking, what about another 2 keys added to the options? So as well as heavy punch, kick, etc, we also have a PPP key and a KKK key? That way, the only real bother is to do the "joystick" motion right! Ok, that's my 3 cents, plus GST. Oh hey, TMY, is it possible to get myself booted down to ####ie again? I really don't like being a junior member... it is so, oh, i don't know, not ####ie? Cheers Lobo |
####ie.
Weird. What about N E W B I E? Ok, in the above post, i meant N E W B I E, not ####ie, which is actually ####ie keyed in, only over-written with # by the chats what, anti swear mechanism? That's some fancy heuristic you guys got there! I know, I know, I am meant to edit posts, not add replies. Sorry. Cheers (again) Lobo PS ####ie! hahaha! PPS Ok, I give, why the heck is ####ie a banned word? |
If you are having a difficult time preforming moves....it is because you are entering the commands too fast.
Slow down...press each button "briefly" instead of rapidly. |
Your the first person actually wanting to be a ####ie. :laughlong:

or keep pressing them again and again!!! :buttrock:

lobo: lol... from dah begin' of dat poste I had disz "Britush" soundin' like acent in mah headz. Figure where dat come from? (Mark Twain = creator of all l33t talk)
But to answer your q about the word "n e w b" or just "n 0 0 b", people were/do use it to discriminate against new players, regaurdless of their posts. So, some admin got tired of it and banned the word all together. I've seen the 3 button option in other games before... not sure if that'd help, but since the problem with people hitting them to gain levels is fixed, I don't see what's wrong with it. I guess the biggest issue would be making the game too easy for button masheres (you want people to learn their moves instead of just mashing buttons after all). |
3 things that comes into play if you have problems with the keys !
1 - you press them to rapidly, like nosoul telled ya, slow down a bit ! 2 - you press keys to slow, press em faster a little ! 3 - you got an OLD DIN keyboard ! solution to this, none ! reason why this matter... DIN = keyboard with big round plug. PS/2 = Keyboard with little round plug. here is the dif. DIN = old keyboard that had trouble with things like more then 1 keys at a time, causing the game to have sluggish key response ! PS/2 = today's keyboards that has a better key definition so you can press about 10 keys all together without problem. and the cables inside the keyboards get the info faster then older one ! there is also USB one but them they are the best for that kind of problem ! to put an all-around answer to that. did you know you can actually push only 2 buttons to do the super ? example: shinkuu-hadoken = D,DF,F +HP+MP+LP become... SHINKUU HADOKEN = D,DF,F+HP+MP or any other 2 punches ! so there it cannot be easier then this so deal with it ! |
no 3 punch/kick key.. EVER (i answered this q many times b4)

[color=blue:post_uid4]Well at least tmyappz was. Nice about going and aswering it   I think some people like being new. To this forum so they can. Make other people mad :lookaround:  The only time you might. Get a problem with the 2 button special. Is when the game your fighting. In becomes to unbearable in lag. Other than that it is fine. Now you might have to buy a new keyboard. That could also be the problem then.[/color:post_uid4] |
