Wouldn't it be nice to reward those members of SFO who have been here since the beginning, or close to it? It would be a great gift for those who have been around since so, so long ago. Shouldn't loyalty be rewarded?

This topic of discussion came up when, for the first time in nearly 3 years, I logged into the game on a computer that could play it, and encountered DXZero. We talked, and the conversation came to this: shouldn't those who have been around for so long, and stayed at least semi-active, and have been helpful or kind in the community get a special title in the game/forums?

Having a special title for such people would be a great idea to reward people for their loyalty to the game.

Those who have been around and a helpful or nice part of the community since 2001-2002 should be able to kick people from the servers in SFO. It would keep those who have been around since the beginning around, as they wouldn't have to put up with rule-breaking jerks online.

It would also be nice for those people to have a special forum title. What title could be discussed, but here are a few ideas...

For those around since 2001...
Original Player
Oldie
Oldskool (spelling optional)

For those around since 2002...
Veteran
Second in Line

Again, this would be a very nice way to reward original players to this site. There would be an application process, where forum-goers who think they qualify would apply, and list their game account name, and a discussion on the merits of the application could be discussed by the mods.

Yea this idea is very interesting and it would seperate the ####s from the vets not to mention get some respect. But how about all those other lying ####s who pick a random forum name from the past and use it as theyre own i mean common we all know alot of morons do that picking up a random name on the member list and saying"that was my old name" and going to search and typing in the name and finding an old topic posted by the name. And i think it should only be 2001-2002 users who should get something of this sort i mean common we still got 2003 ####s bouncing around rd ####ing ppl . do u really think they should get this kind of honor.

Moderators can compare IP addresses to determine if that was really them. If it is them, their IP address should be the same.

The idea is for people that have been around since 2001-2002 to get the custom title and kicking priveliges.

and custom titles would be really something i mean there isnt even a whole lot of 2001-2002 users left or active members anyways only like a handful.So i doubt it would be that hard to do for a handful of loyal
