lets say ur mom calls u or ur brother or sis starts cryin while ur playin sfo, u cant jus leave ur mom callin u or else she'll start b*tchin and ur brother cud be hurt or sumthin. thats y i think we shud add a pause game feature.
i knoe wut ur thinkin, the otha person cud pause the game 4 evr blah blah bla then u get bored so u leave the game givin ur opponent a win. BUT, my idea is each player is only allowed 1 or 2 pauses a game and each pause shud be about 15-20 secs. if the otha person exceeds that time the game continues even if the otha person aint ready. This dats a gud i dea? |
I like the idea.
the only problem i see with this is.....what if when the game is paused, the game MIGHT lose connection due to no action on the fight. I still like this idea ALOT. I see a huge problem with it. I can tell people are going to try and do a pause at every moment on the fight for they won't lose. Just another way to add more cheapness in their style of play.
If this idea can get any better, both parties would have to agree on the pause. So in other words, let say you want to pause. You press a button to request for pause, and if the opponent agrees on it, then he would press the button as well and give the dude 15 seconds of pause. Then the game can continue even if both are not ready. ----- Or maybe instead of pause we have a call out like the "Tag Requested" call out. You can press start or in our case "1", and it would say "HOLD ON", then the person can have time to tell you something inside the chat, and tell you to wait a bit till he/she comes back. yo dominican i sed the player only has 1 or 2 pauses per game so if they losin they only have 2 chances 2 b cheap so 2 afta that beat em down :D

yea but lets say ur about to do an attack. they can pause it and see what ur gonna do so they can counter it. another way to cheat.
on the other hand i do like it. lots of times while i play sfo my cat wants to go out or my phone rings. then i risk like 30% of my life typin something to the opponent to hold on and being th edumbasses they are they act like they dont see it and keep attacking. then after i have a few life left then they type something like"oh my bad man. sorry" and i cant just fight back cause then theyd think im back and i took care of whatever i had to do |
yep, you can pause it and catch them offguard by unpausing the game before the time limit.
but i'm thinking if it's paused while people are synced, everything should catch up and this would be a way to reduce lag ingame |

So far. It seems there's a "trust" issue with this idea for pause. Possible countering. I still don't think it's a good idea. What dominican said could work. |

good idea but people can abuse it...just either be prepared to play all the way or lose with distractions you have a choice to pickup the phone or leave it
