I was fighting Chun Li with Ryu just a few minutes ago, and some wierd stuff happened. I super jumped up into a corner, and suddenly it seemed that I was being hit by a lightning kick in the air, even though Chun Li was on the ground. I lost 3/4 of my life in that attack, and it took me about eight or nine seconds to fall down.

After that, my opponent used her energy super move (Shinkuu Hadouken? I haven't checked the name in so long). The game itself seemed to freeze, but we could still chat. We both decided that we should quit. My opponent's lag was not that high, either.

yeah chun li freezes the game!!!!!!!
cost me a match already and it counted as a loss.
after getting trashtalked for over 10 mins i just gave up and left and it counted as a loss dubya tee eff is wrong with that it's happened to me 2 times already and i was winning both and got count a loss for both.

I think that maybe Chun Li's moves just aren't taking into account the y-variable (how high you are). She can lightning kick on the ground and hit you in the air.

yeah i have the same problems...few more things, shes alot slower than ryu and get her @ss kicked, and when i did a big firball super and my opponent hit the blast chun li got hurt... PLZ help, i dont wanna hate chun li!! lol..

Three words: Chun Li Sucks!!! (This isn't bitching, because I am refering to my arcade experiences.)

I don't know if this belongs here in bug reporting, but i did manage to get a 99 hit combo with chun li today. It was obviously do to lag, but i thought it was pretty cool anyway. She seems a bit slow in .02k, but i just noticed that .02m is up now.

that combo must be fake, because someone i fought said he did a 95 hit combo on me but i never got hit i dodged it, (except when im in the air) but then i get back down and killed him..... :)

No, that kind of combo can be done using the lightning kick if you get caught directly behind Chun Li when it starts. And also, Chun Li doesn't suck. Just get used to how she is now.
