SFO Archive Forums - [ posting rights ]

Now as you all know with the last update to the forum board, an extensive filter was added to it. Why?? For what reason?? Well, let's just say it's for your own good. I'll explain in a bit.

However, before I go into that detail, it has come to our notice that some of the forum members sometimes use words and other symbols to bypass the forum filter and post profanity.

Some of which I wouldn't even botehr going into. but the lot of you that use them, know them very well :biggrin:

Please note that the forum filter was placed there for a reason, and not for you to try and bypass your way through them. From now on, some of the members in question (of which I'd mention no names) would be monitored.. and your replies scrutinized.

If we see words that are deemed inappropriate and some how squiggled in there to bypass the filter, warnings would be sent. And if these warnings aren't respected, then your posting rights would be taken away.

As I said earlier, it's for your own good. The bulk of members that visit this site are of an average age of 12. And we don't want to be part of the canker worm that turns them into potty mouths later in life.
