marvel911 01-12-2004 02:45 PM

WHAT!!..no gameboy..this is an outrage..Oh well, SNES was the best ever.

SSJKarma 01-12-2004 06:48 PM

well, yeah, the snes was the best system ever made !

great joypad, great adventure games, great action games, greatest collection of very great third party developpers, great sound, great graphics, great overall... the best console ever !

too bad the SNES CD never came out... it would have probably easily rivaled the PLAYSTATION !

who ever heard about those Consoles...

ATARI JAGUAR
ATARI JAGUAR CD
PANASONIC 3DO

?? ??

quite a few good games on theses systems as well !
remember kasumi ninja on jaguar ?
could easily defeat the MK series !
if only the jaguar controller wasn't so... slugish !

anyway...

SNES beats all other consoles hand down !
sure today's gaming is cool, but rare are the games that really are new. at least back then games weren't taking others engine, it was always a new engine and a new experience. good old times indeed !

i think its hard to decide which of my nintenod system i like the best,,, i dont own a regular nintendo, but ive played the duck hunt at my cousins house! thats a classic :)

i really like my old snes, i even play it now a days!
the nintendo64 was a really awsome system with many good games that i still play today...
fzero,zelda,mario64, just to mention a few.... too bad the system didnt have many third party games...but ill vote for the gamecube, because it has smash bros melee (even though SMB 1 was better), f-zero GX , and mario sunshine! (just to mention a few... havent tried MK :DD yet... gnarr)

Violent_Ken 01-14-2004 01:23 PM

i would say dreamcast it may be dead but its still fun to play with :D

Shinatsu 01-14-2004 03:07 PM

Definetly snes is the best system of all time. Castlevania, SF 2 turbo= oldies but goodies

SSJKarma 01-14-2004 11:29 PM

haaaaaaaa... kids and their GRPAHICAL SYSTEMS, just a question people, why are you preferring the PS2 more then SNES ?

if at least you're gonna answer speed and graphics, at least tell me that you played such games as the SECRET OF MANA series !

the snes was, and will always be the best console ever !
why ?
GREAT GAMES, GREAT THIRD PARTY COMPANIES, GREAT GAMES, GREAT DESIGNS, GREAT HARDWARE (always was pumped up to follow the gaming evolution) GREAT RPGs, GREAT ACTION GAMES, GREAT SPORTS GAME...

it had everything great !
none of those consoles today have all those, why ? because people like you kiddos, just want blood, want carnage. so no invention may it be revolutionnary is enough for you, you just don't care if the game is stupid as hell, as long as you just kill and kill you are happy !

let me tell you this...
IT IS DAMN WRONG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

STORY has to be in there, graphics are good, but not necessarely big to make a great game. the controllers need to be correctly done, the whole game itself have to be fun, otherwise the deal about FUN FACTIOR is just not there !

the SNES is the only console to have ever brought me that kind of fun ! that's why i am still enjoying it today. that even tho i have a DC my SNES is one of the few console to be plugged, even my PSOne doesn't stand close to it !

so tell me, answer my question, why are you all saying that the next generation consoles are better then older ones !
