the space shuttle columbia, NASA's oldest space shuttle, blew up re-entering the atmoshpere. click on the link i posted up earlier.

god, ur so damn slow.

SSJDan 02-01-2003 11:54 AM

a shuttle coming back from space blew up, as of right now no one seems to be sure what the exact cause is.

SolidSnake76 02-01-2003 01:31 PM

all nasa knows is that a piece of foam struck the wing and the shuttle desinigrated. this is the first time a spacecraft desinigrated while reentry and the second accident in nasa history, following the challenger incident in 1986.
