I have a problem and it is that whenever i try to challenge some one or they challenge me it says Unable to connect please check your ip/port settings in the options menu
and when i try and consult the faqs it says an error 404 has occured

are you behind a firewall? if you are try checking old connection mode in options under network :biggrin: that usually does the trick. and make sure that old connection mode and only old connection mode is checked. if proxy is also checked then uncheck it :biggrin:

I'm not behind a firewall and i still cant host.

i have a prob. too nferno when i host nobody can join so now my only choice is to tell people to host or quick fight me :angry:

i put the i am behind a firewall thing and the old connection mode and this time it wont even let me into the servers

you might be behind a firewall..you can only join games or be challenged...join the club :biggrin: and for not being able to go in the servers at all anymore...make sure proxy is not checked :biggrin:

Im no good with computers how do i do that

ok under network there is alot of options to do...leave everything alone and goto the botton and click on old connection mode..don't click on the top one that says proxy/firewall. you only need the bottom one checked
