It is pretty annoying that Ryu's strong punch and kick can cancel and are the same strentgh as Wolverine's Berseker Barrage. It is even more annoying when you can't win, because of this. Please tone him down.

if someone can come up with detailed ways to balance out ryu and logan (something that is semi-true to the arcade version) ... i'd like to hear em :biggrin:

Why does this have to be semi-arcade. Let's see how many people agree with Ryu and Wolverine in their normal arcade form.

i ment to say like the arcade or BETTER (if u can do better, i dont mind, i mean, sure as #### we don't need infinite combos in this version of the game) :biggrin:

How about this. When ever Ryu does a fireball his super level bar gets brought down a little. Somebody should know of this from Street Fighter 3: Third Strike. You know doing EX on someone. When you press two buttons and the attack is twice as strong and you are yellow.

I disagree with Selvin, you always want Ryu toned down like you have something against him.....

BECAUSE I DO HAVE SOMETHING AGAINST HIM! Look, Ryu is the basics. He is for beginers. I am just saying that if you can't let go of the cripple Ryu, you don't know what you are missing. Ryu perfected the Hadouken, nothing else. At least Ken perfected the Shoryuken and somewhat the hurricane kick. Akuma, he perfected the Dark Hadou, it self. Sakura, is unique with her rising Hadouken and even Dan has some creativity. But Ryu is the Basics. If you are starting out, use him. But comparing, he is the basics. Ryu's endings always have him looking for a good chalenge. I remember one ending where he faced Akuma and lost. Even in the #### movie he is afraid of him. Ryu blows. Ryu = Hadouken, Hadouken = Cheapness, Cheapness = Being a Wuss, Being a Wuss = Ryu.

if you are saying ryu's a wuss than everyone on sf is a wuss because almost everyone on sf has some sort of projectile and I think ryu and ken perfected the hadouken and the shoryuken because when u look back on the very first ,the 2D side scrolling adventure about protecting good from ,when it was just 2 characters such as ryu and ken on the nintendo the only moves they had were punches and kicks and with special button combinations different from now u could do the hadouken and shoryuken.I think Capcom did well creating the 2 most well known characters as far as fighting games go
