he came into the chat today as player35, asking to fight the hardest fighters, and the top 10. obviously an attempt to make himslef look like a real fighter. this in itself is horrible, but the real proof is this: when fighting (at first i thought it was just some idiot), "2nd Place Champion" poped up at the begining. After that i promptly kicked his ass twice, but the proof is still here. He also fights and lags the same way...

can we let this go? no, its a conspiracy of sorts. yes its only a game, but this is just petty and simple. i demand something be done, and that rat bastard to confess, and squeel like the little pre-pubecent bitch he is.

Ive been playing all the top guys as WOOL-V or ZingW, or LoganZ. I havent hidden that from anyone..

As for your conclusive evidence, if its my "2nd Place Champion" you saw, then how come it doens't say that when I play WOOL-V.

How many times have we seen somebody have a championship banner when they werent actually champions...

and as far as "He also fights and lags the same way"...
its kinda funny you should mention that, cause when I played tarkanx today, and he mentioned that I fight differently all the time and thats what makes me good.

and this lag thing is getting on my fucking nerves, I almost never host, because its you guys who are gunning for me...SO DONT BLAME ME FOR LAG WHEN YOU HOST!!!! (I know it has nothing to do with this perticular incident hes mentioning since it wasn't me, but Im just tired of hearing it :))

and just so everyone here knows that it couldn't have been me, THERE HAS NEVER BEEN ANYONE WHO HAS PROMPTLY KICKED MY ASS TWICE...Ive lost yes (many times), but NO ONE has ever kicked my ass to the point they could brag about it the way you just did, and they all know it!

well, this is new. ive yet to see anyone with the championship banner, and not be the actual person in a guise. (its been done before, thats why i went off so quickly) meh, i didnt know you were the other people.

and for this, i feel like an idiot. but hey, thats all good.

hmm... well, i'll be honest here, this whole thing sounds like a "bug"

the "X place champion" msg which is displayed @ the begginin of each rounds works like this...

EVERY time u login, the game will check if you are in the top 3... if u don't re-login for a while, and your place changes, the game will still remmember whatever place you were in when you first loged in (clear enough ?? :biggrin:)

if you are behind a proxy, this complicates thing ever more... for some people, until they clear their cache, their "chapion standing" will not be refreshed.. thus, if some guy was in 2nd place 2 weeks ago, he'd still be in that place as far as the game is concerned (well, until he clears his cache to get the new version of the game)...:biggrin:

another problem is that sometimes the top scores server locks someone's score by mistake, and u'll see a no name guy with a "2nd place" or whatever...

bottom line, dont really trust that msg too much, much like most things in this game, it is still far from perfect...

one thing still bothers me though, whats wrong with login' in as "player" to play the game, i mean, your score will NOT be counted, who cares :biggrin:

hehe...the snipers are coming outa the wood work...trying to kill the big guys with as little losses as possible seems to be the name of the game now...in my opinion this is "shady" game play...i think every one should only be allowed one username...only reason i say that is because...
EXAMPLE: Tantum could make himself 20 names and go nuts on as many peple as he could...thus locking up the first 20 spots on the high score boards with just his account..this kinda thing could make climbing to the top 10 extremely difficult...if not impossible...it isnt something someone could do in a day or a weekend...but give 'em a month or two of dedicated game play and it could be done...im not trying to say Tantum is untouchable...but he could definately lock up quite a few slots in the top 20 if he wanted to.

even though this rant was started cause someone was mistaken for me, *IF* someone was doing this, I might think its "shady" as well...

someone might take the opportunity to beat one of the top guys as a player, then lip them off in the chat...

I could see myself having a problem with that...I always hate the idea that people see the internet as a faceless thing, where you can say what you want cause the person will never come face to face with you...but in here if your any good, people know u, and u cant just give out lip service cause someone would come into the forum and let everyone know...

so ya, I dont think someone should ever do that, if its with the intent of being a jerk to others..
