well basically, fps determines your overall game performace
of course, gameplay knowledge is also a necessity but what im talking about, even if youre good but your fps is low, how the hell youre gonna win? you wouldnt know your own fps unless a certain online gameplay ends which kinda suck bcoz you dont have the option to accept or decline a challenge nor join hosted games so my question/suggestion... are there any possible ways/means that we would know our fps before we decide to do our online game? i mean, itll help us or itll give us an idea on how were gonna perform and/or if we should still continue to play, join hosted games or accept challenges... what do you guys think? ??? |

AHAHAHA!!! LOL. Um.. no. He's refering to fps (ie: frames per second, or how fast the game runs). It's good to have high fps. Ping is, in short, is the amount of time it takes for your data packets sent through the internet to be sent, interpreted, and returned. It's good to have low ping (ie: low amount of time wasted sending/recieving data packets). Do a http://whatis.techtarget.com/ search on any other terms you don't get. what im trying to say, fps isnt stable
today im running 38fps and then the next day i would go down to 11fps so if we could just somehow identify our present fps without playing first, then itll help us get the idea what our chances of winning would be... |

im on board band i have compressive lag... :)
|
lightbringer: low fps doesnt cause lag...what it means is that your game will run sluggishly. PING causes the warping.
