To put it in understandable phrase... THEY ALL HAVE A DIFFERENT STRATEGY, PLAYING STYLE, PROS AND CONS SO DON'T COMPARE IT!!!

Ryu is first because when you beta bison at the end, he wins the championship, but doesn't accept it, Guile is second because he beats bison, and is about to kill him until his family stops him, bison is 3rd because he is reall strong, sagat is 4th because he's weaker than bison, but he beat ken, ken is 5th because he's just a tad weaker than sagat, it was stated. vega is 6th because I know ken can beat him, and it goes vega, sagat, and bison, chun-liu is 7th because she is not as fast as vega, but she has some good strength, balrog is 8th because it goes balrog, vega, sagat, then bison, and he got the psycho power up which made him twice as stronger than what he was in street fighter(he was mike in street fighter) E honda is 9th because I think e honda can beat zangief, his head butt will paralyze zangief, but I'd say they're almost even(e honda being a tad stronger) zangief is 10th because it was stated that he can easily bring down a bear(kill the bear) and he thought of blanka as a bear, blanka is 11th because zangief said he can beat blanka, and dhalsim is 12th bceause he's physically weak, and it was said that he easily lost the tournament, I have summed it up, so there.

And there is no way that Ken is the strongest in street fighter 2: TWW.

Okay. Now here is the only reason why I think of that makes Ryu the strongest. In every Street Fighter game everyone enters it for a certain reason. Now except for Ryu who is the champion and has to defend his title, no one really enters it just to win.

Okay let me name some characters who do it for the title:

Ryu-to once again be the strongest in the world
Ken-to beat his best friend ryu
Dhalsim-to tell people that yoga is number one
E honda-to tell people the sumo wrestling is number one
Sagat-to win the title back from Ryu
Balrog-to be champion like he was before.

other reasons why they are there

zangief: to defend his country from being taken over by bison
Vega: to make people see his face
Blanka: I don't know, to find his mother?
Bison: he was the host.

See so except for Ryu and Sagat. No one 100% plays for the title.

I think in the first of the Street Fighter games Ken and Ryu where made the same stength..... but as time goes on I think that they changed them because "whats the point of having two of the same character". But even if they are the same in many ways...Ryu is still my fav character in the Street Fighter games...
