A few of the faithful have noticed that our beloved community website seems to be "suspended"

So whats going on you may ask..

Well it seems as though our host provider "HostRocket" has taken it apon themselves to make annoying Zing and I they're number one priority.

What exactly has happened is that we just became, well too... popular? :D
It seems our site was causing a full 100% processor load on their servers, causing any other sites they were hosting to load REALLY slow, or not at all...

Now this was mostly due to our Ikonboard script, (heavily modified by myself I may add). The script itself is quite processor intensive, and their pansy little processors couldn't handle it.. lol

So what are the plans for Senshuketaikai.com?
Well.. we are currently researching other providers, and will be making a switch to a different server.
Expect this to take a week, or so.

Hang in with us guys, I will keep this topic here so you know the goings on of the site.

I appreciate all the emails of concern and the suggestions I have recieved.

We will be back, no worries.

Um.......quass one question.......when you do your server change will you still use ikonboards, and will the stats and posts.....and all that be lost? or will everything be there? like all the topics and stuff?

Well.. I did manage to export the database, and save everything...

But, like I said, the main problem was the use of ikonboard on our site.. sooo we may not be able to implement it again...

But thats to be seen.

As far as switching to another board (as I'm sure is on some of your minds) we were using a highly modified version 3.01 of ikonboard.

As of yet, I have not seen ONE converter for another board for iB3.01 (ie yabb, phpbb, etc..)
So this means.. if we DO change boards we lose everything.

A WEEK!!!?????? How do you expect me to survive this? I have to wait a week for Night of the Sentinals AND for Senshukentaki to be back up? The anxiety...the anticipation...it's unbareable...

Quass.....i think you should get a ubb........it's much faster in my opion. But yapp are known better in most anime sites. But still Ubb's are fast loading....
