hey guys..iam really bumed right now =| i was in this tourney and i thought i was gaon win ..i think my ego was too big or i didnt try hard enough cuz i thought i was goan win for sure..i won the first game ...then he / she won the 2nd and 3rd..but the thing that hurt the most is when i told him/her to take the VIP off and then i beat him/her easily and i didnt put my full on strength..i guss thats how you learn from life...mistakes.... learn from them cuz they are preciosus lessons in life.so moral of the story guys and gals...face every oppnonent like he/she is the best in sfo and dont have and never have big ego not even if you Mastered every person in sfo be as modest as possible and humble as possible and always show everyperson in your life your true strength and never show your weaknesses..cuz there will always by some1 out there better than you in something..not only is sfo..but in anything..iam just pretty bumed thats all..i had to express my self some way some how..hope fully ill get stronger.dont forget what i told you.. you may respond on how you feel or any similar circumstances

Or just realise its only a game and play how you want to.

alamgir, ppl know its just a game dude. Just, whenever you are in a contest or competition you would like to win. If the opposite happens, you feel kinda bummed or let down. Sure we didnt need to hear an entire essay, but i mean. Whether i compete in a jujutsu tourney or im playing a game. Just because its a game doesnt mean that the agony of defeat is any less valid.

but, one correction to abdoun. when you face an opponent. You should ALWAYS carry the attitude of "i am going to beat them, i am going to show them how great i really can be" and try your best. Im going to grapple in a jujutsu tournament in november and i know one of my possible opponents weighs close to 300 lbs. My mentality is, "im going to pick him up off the ground and i am going to SLAM him through the floor before i choke him out in front of everybody. he cant stand between me and my ability to do that." i will win. the end.
