If Captain America were to be put in SFO, would he be able to lose his shield?

I say no because it would be a bug problem and with all this lag... who knows... Maybe it's the reason the Cap'n wouldn't be a popular entry... or an entry we shouldn't be expecting any time soon.

All I think is...

Captain America should throw his shield and whether or not it makes contact, it would return without showing it bounce/fly back to him. He would just stand their, vulnerable, if he missed the attack and if he hit with the attack he would continue fighting.

TMyApp has a way of working out things like this.. I never saw how the shinryuken would work in SFO.. with the amount of lag.. and the fact that it's really.. REALLY hard to pull of the shin shoryuken.. however, it's working out really well. So let's worry about that when ppl vote for Captain America. :biggrin:

CA wont be voted in for a while anyway. if he was, i dunno if his shield would be able to stay on the floor when he misses catching it. it would be all over the place. he'd beable to use it has a normal projectile aslong as it ALWAYS comes back to him. it will be just like ryus hadoken.

and to make up for the fact that you have to 'catch the shield" it would prob do more damage than haduken (and would also go through other player's fireballs/projectiles)

but, first CA has to get voted by the people (and it might be a while b4 that happens) :biggrin:

once he throws the sheild it should disappear and appear on his hand again

That's great TMyApp. I can't believe I doubted the man himself...

TMyApp, the Cap's Sheild should do two times the damage then Ryu's fireball since he has to catch it.

Never seems more appropiate. ;)
