there was a poll up and ppl voted for a new helper as their prize for winning the tournament..

thus making you have to defend your Ryu character a non-factor

i MUST disagree. this ryu is a symbol of his victory, like first place is a symbol of your stature. it should be defended, just like any prize. the new helper should go to the winner, and if they beat cyris, they should either get his ryu, if its a ryu player, or cyris should loose it, if its a wolvi player.

so...uhh...

winner gets: new helper, and cyris's ryu. if they play and win with wolvi, the helper, but with a wolvi. the ryu should be taken from cyris, should he loose, and given to the next tourney winner, if they win with ryu.

i personally don't care if we have whole buncha people with the "tournament winner" msg when they play the game...

blue ryu's, special helpers, dif colour logan's... this was always my original vision...

i still dont' want to have more than 2 tournament winners per game character, but i do like to see tournaments happening @ all times (and not 3 months apart, allowing cyris to keep his precious BR :biggrin:)

but, that

the winner should fight cyris, its only fair. he should keep his ryu, as a momento, if you will, but loose the title. the new winner should recieve a special version of whatever they won with, along with the new helper.

after all, when you win the super bowl, you dont give your rings up the next time, just the title.

Havoc: hmmm. don't get it. Think Lordcyris should keep his title and all that stuff because that was last tournament. I think it should say what tournament he won when it pop up on screen. The new helper and the title name of the new tournament she get posted for the winner of this one..

tmy: i wasnt afraid of losing him though it would hurt cuase im so used to him.. but i figured the title was the most important
