maybe if you had a little page or subsection of the forum where the current expense vs income was shown, or even a general "we need $_"

or whatever. I dont want to donate $20 when $40 would make all the difference in the world; likewise, i dont want to give $150.22 when you only need $10.

what do ya think?

also, im thinking of starting a caffinated beverage drive so that we can keep you wired until you finish spiderman

lol

that sounds like a lot of work man... lol

plus.. "keep track" would be a bit hard... there is no "set" cost...

yes there is internet connection costs, web hosting costs.. etc... but there is also bandwidth usage costs (which change all the time... depending on how much traffic is generated that day/week/month etc..)

and then there is equipment... it breaks all the time... has to be replaced... etc etc etc...

non of this can be predicted... so... :(

... i think for now we'll keep it the way it is... "donation" is just that... a "donation"... whatever u can spare is good (no need to try and fund the entire game ALL by yourself.. lol)

if it's not enough.. its not the end of the world... one of us will pay the costs otta our own pockets (the way we always have.. it really is not a "new" thing... or a "surprise" for us... lol )

if its a bit too much (it never has.. and i dobut that it would be) then that will just cover the costs for next week/month (i'm sure none of us will start buying "new toys" with the extra $10 that is donated)

anyway...
