Umm really.. i dont know what ELSE to do... let see..
hmm 1. Joined game Sept. 1, 2001 2. Joined forum Nov. 2001 3. One of the first people to become rank one with wolver |
i think its because ur nt popular enough .. when i first saw u ( couple of months ago) i thought u were new until i saw 2001.
anyway u might have done all these things but ur missin popularity and thats what made u dissapointed. ( no i dont know what contribution is) :) |
Dont worry about it. Theres not alot of people from 2001 other then a few so most ofus (including me) didnt even know you existed. But im sure if you become active enuff people will discover you.
And contribution is when you donate alot of time to help the game, liek pay money not only for the vip perks or anything but just because your deciated to the game. But i understand ya...most ofus are 14-16 and cant pay yet cause were under age. |
yeah...look at abc123test(err) he was unknown untill he was more active around the forums
|
sad to say... but only a few people around here became popular by playing the game ! most of the most popular people were forum junkies and played the games an hell of a lot less times then the game itself !
TarkanX for example... i knew him because of the forum, if i weren't such a forum junky i wouldn't have known that he was a great fighter back then and i wouldn't have had that fight with him when i played in the first times ! same goes for a lot of others ! for all i care, i am not putting any list of veterans or anything like that ! but if it can help it... you were in the vet tourney right ? if so then you were considered as a true veteran by many people.... the rest, its all a matter of ####s and there little i don't know you enough to say you are a vet, but they just came in a month ago ! forget about em ! professor was a great forum junky, same for airlock which i heard was tight in a match, but he disappeared soon afetr i heard it, thus i never knew if it was true ! anyway... be a forum junky, you,ll get a lot more respect then what being a fighter gets you ! best example is me... i get respected for being a true community carer for i been here since 2001 ! speaking and being active for the last 3 years ! now that many of them knows me they wanna fight me and lately got the title of being a great fighter with sentinel ! that i didn't have 6 months ago ! see what i mean... being a great fighter isn't enough for this community ! that's sad to hear tho... i would rather have a real challenge sometimes... but many can only say so much and never back themselves up ! |
karma is right
i m with u this time :p |
NOBODY here remembers Hibiki, do they?
:( Do they? I was really good in the game back before my FPS went to average around 6.333, and gave Nferno666 and others high up on the bracket a real challenge, but that's not what I became known for. I was known for my posting here on the forums. ... not that most people here were even around when I posted here a lot before... |
:D I remember you Dan...and you too dominican
you shouldnt feel glum lil pardners. You both are respected Vets of the forum and game, dont think you arent. It's all just a matter of time before someone goes... "Wow, so and so is awesome!" ..and then others take notice. Just takes a few stunning butt whippin's in the ring, and a few hundred or so inteligent posts and your in... Not to suggest that either of you havent already done that. What does it mean to contribute? Be here, answer questions, make inteligent posts, help new players...and at the bottom of the list is, kick butt in the ring. ..but ya dont even realy have to be a good fighter or have a high FPS...just helping others to understand all that goes on around here daily in the chats and in the forum is usualy enough to get you mentioned when it comes award time.
